CRESCO Properties, Inc. the trade name for the Commercial Real Estate Solutions Company, was established in 1992 by Joseph S. Dunn, at that time a Vice President of CB Commercial Real Estate (now CB Richard Ellis), as a way of providing very focused solutions to selected situations involving real estate for owners, buyers and tenants. Mr. Dunn left CB Commercial to be able to concentrate energy, enthusiasm, tenacity and resources to get the job done for the clients.

Mr. Dunn has been involved in Commercial Real Estate in Jefferson County and the Denver Area since 1978 including leasing and sales of industrial, office, retail, and land properties as well as investment sales. 

 

Major sales have included the 70 acre TOSCO Oil Shale Research Facility as well as the 88 acre Foothills Business Park which has become the home to Jefferson County Government, Sixth Avenue Place (a 100,000 SF office/R&D campus), and Green Mountain Business Center (a 100,000 SF office/warehouse complex) which we sold twice. 

 

Since 1988 he has been the marketing agent for Corporate Center in Golden, Colorado, a 70 acre business park located at the western junction of

I-70 and C-470. 

 

He served twice on the board of directors of the Jefferson Economic Council, the Jefferson County economic development organization--first from

1981 through 1985, then returned to the board, serving from 1993 through 1997. 

 

In 1985 he was one of the founders of the Colorado Innovation Foundation, which became the first business incubator for Jefferson County. He served on that board until 1987 and returned to the board in 1994. 

 

Mr. Dunn worked for CB Commercial Real Estate Group (now CB Richard Ellis) from 1978 through 1991, most recently as Vice President, Commercial Properties. In 1992 he established CRESCO Properties, Inc., now located in Lakewood, Colorado. 

 

In addition to CRESCO Properties, Inc., Mr. Dunn is President of Pathfinder Property Company, a real estate investment entity providing a path to liquidity for real estate situations where the owner does not need or want brokerage services. Pathfinder has helped several financial institutions move distressed assets quickly and cleanly.
